Dr. Almouie has been in practice for over 20 years. He received his medical degree from Tishreen University College of Medicine, Lattakia, Syria and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Driscoll Childrens Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Almouie is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and is also a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. His professional interests include Asthma and Allergy, Dermatology and Alternative Medicine. He and his wife share five beautiful children and enjoy traveling and nature.
Dr. Diaz Deleon has been practicing pediatrics for the past 30 years. Before that, he was a practicing registered pharmacist for about ten years. Dr. Diaz Deleon is a veteran of the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1980 with the rank of Captain. Dr. Diaz Deleon has been married to his lovely high school sweetheart for the past 44 years and calls her his BEST achievement. He and his wife share three children and four great grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his Harley motorcycle through the back roads, as well as woodworking and playing golf.
Dr. Anna Legostaev graduated from the University of Georgia and obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her pediatric residency here in San Antonio at University of Texas Health Science Center. Anna Legostaev is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. During her free time, Dr. Legostaev enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, going to the Zoo, and running.
Dr. Peter Pirraglia is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Pirraglia dedicated his life to care for children, the future of the world. He is married with children and grandchildren.
Dr. Mark Murray was born and raised in New Jersey, where he was a lifeguard on the beach. Now, he is happy to call Austin home and hopes he never has to shovel snow off another driveway. Dr. Murray received his medical degree from Rowan School of Medicine in New Jersey. He completed his pediatric residency at The Prisma Health Children’s Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Murray is a board certified pediatrician through the American board of pediatrics. Dr. Murray has always known that he wanted to be a pediatrician and is excited to begin caring for children in and around the Austin area. Dr. Murray enjoys watching college football (especially teams in the SEC), spending time with his family, and being outside with his dog.
I attended Baylor University for undergrad, UT Health for medical school here in San Antonio and completed my pediatrics residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am board certified in Pediatrics. I returned to San Antonio in 2009 to start practicing and love the San Antonio community. My husband and I enjoy ballroom dancing and attending cultural events. We live in Leon Springs with our three young sons.
Dr. Day loves children and enjoys interacting with families to give the best possible care. As a mom she knows how important knowledgable medical care is for the whole family.
Barakah Day, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and her medical degree is from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Day completed her pediatric residency at Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin with the University of Texas Southwestern. Dr. Day is excited to practice in her hometown after practicing as a pediatrician in Austin for the last decade. She loves spending her free time with her husband and two cute young boys walking around the neighborhood, swimming, biking, and visiting playgrounds and parks. The family also enjoys quality grandparent time. Tennis is a lifelong hobby for Dr. Day who played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and now plays more casually.
Connecting with patients and their families and watching a family grow is unique to Pediatrics. Dr. Hart cherishes her time helping new Mom’s and Dad’s adjust to their new little one, and takes time to discuss vaccines, breastfeeding and evidence-based care of infants and children. Having practiced for the past 17 years, she is very experienced and promises to her families that if the answer is not readily available, she will spend the extra time to research and find the most up to date answer/solution. Dr. Hart most recently had a large practice in Lubbock, Texas where she won Best Pediatrician of the West. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to becoming a Pediatrician, Dr. Hart was an officer in the USAF and grew up in a military family and thus is acquainted with the issues involved with relocating and deployments. She has a 14-year-old son that she fostered and adopted and has an interest in fostered and adopted children. Dr. Hart attended Medical School at Texas Tech University, and residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
Jeremy retired from the US Army as a combat medic and received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Born in Missouri and raised near the Kansas City area, he has been a lifelong Chiefs fan, but has made Texas his permanent home. Jeremy has been volunteering with his kids since they were little, and his wife Katrina always knew he would fit right in with pediatrics. He and Katrina live in the Boerne area with their children. He enjoys spending time with family, hiking or going to the beach with their two Australian shepherds, fly fishing, and traveling to find all the best kept secrets of San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country.
Luis was born in Mexico City and graduated medical school from UNAM. He received his Physician Assistant License from University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. Luis has been a San Antonio resident for 30 years. The past 12 years he has worked a Physician Assistant, 9 years as Family PA, and 3 years as a Pediatric PA. Luis is fluent in Spanish and English with knowledge in Japanese, Hebrew and sign language. His hobbies consist of Japanese archery, Japanese swordsmanship, scuba diving, and Origami.
Mackenzie grew up in Austin, Texas, and began teaching dance classes in high school which solidified her love of working with children. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio and before PA school she attended the University of Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Crimson Tide.
Sara was born and raised in Waco, TX. She earned her Bachelor’s of Human Science in Human Development Family Studies at Texas Tech University. She went on to receive her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Health Science Center San Antonio and is board certified Physician Assistant. Prior to becoming a PA, Sara spent a summer in West Africa assisting in the care and treatment of children in a pediatric ward of a small rural hospital. That experience solidified her love for working with children. She is passionate about mental health and the development of your child. During her free time, Sara enjoys working out, spending time with her two kitties, adding to her plant collection, and trying all the amazing food San Antonio has to offer.
Megan Burson grew up in a small close-nit community about an hour south of San Antonio. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. While pursuing her BSN, she worked part-time as a patient care associate (PCA) at University Hospital in the Mother-Baby unit. After receiving her Registered Nurse licensure, she spent the next six years working at University Hospital rotating through the Neonatal Intensive Care unit (NICU) and the following Pediatric units: Intensive Care (PICU), Intermediate Care (PIMU), Acute Care, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiac Care (PCCU). Megan then obtained her Masters degree from UT Health in San Antonio and later became board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. Megan is married to her junior-high school sweetheart Colby and they recently had their first child, Wyatt. They also have two chihuahuas, Olive & Penny. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, gardening, flea market shopping, and biking the Mission and Leon Creek trails in San Antonio.
Jennifer graduated from Chamberlain University with her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2018. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with her BSN in 2012 and worked in the Pediatric ICU and Emergency Department at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Prior to becoming a nurse, Jennifer worked for the Corpus Christi Fire Department as a Firefighter and Paramedic for over 10 years. She is happy to be a part of the Almouie Team!
I graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Master of Science in Nursing. I am licensed by The Texas Board of Nursing and certified by The Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I worked as a registered nurse in a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit for over six years. In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our family and friends, travel, and support the newest Texas eats.
Christina received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University health Science Center in Lubbock and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Christina is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and board certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to her PNP she worked as a Pediatric Surgical nurse at Methodist Children’s hospital and as a Neonatal ICU nurse at University Hospital in San Antonio. Christina speaks English and Spanish.
She enjoys taking care of children of all ages and strongly believes lifelong health starts in childhood with health promotion and disease prevention.

Kristy graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Adriel graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christ, Texas with a Masters of Science in Nursing. He is licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kendra graduated from Texas A&M with her Masters of Science in Nursing. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. While completing her family nurse practitioner program, Kendra worked as a RN in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Patricia is a native to the Corpus Christi area, she was born and raised in the Calallen area. She has accomplished a BSN of nursing and was obtained through the University of Texas at Arlington as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner. Patricia has been in healthcare for close to twenty years in which 14 of those years were spent in Neonatology. Seven years were dedicated to the growth and development of a 63 bed neonatal department/unit in the Rio Grande Valley. Patricia is licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and board certified through the ANCC. Patricia has dedicated her career to caring for the neonatal and pediatric populations, it is her passion and drive to bring high quality care to the babies and children of our community.
Dorothy Garza graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University-College Station and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She worked over 10 years at Bay Area NICU, where she gained recognition as a Certified RN in Neonatal Intensive Care. Dorothy received her Master’s degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care. She is Certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Nursing. In her free time, Dorothy enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
Olivia is originally from Louisiana. She is a graduate from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center with BSN (2006) and MSN (2014). She worked as PICU nurse for 8.5 years and PNP for 3 years at McLane Children’s Baylor Scott & White before joining Almouie Pediatrics. Her hobbies include barrel racing, hunting, fishing and exercising. She owns 4 dogs and 4 horses that she adores very much. She is licensed by Texas BON and certified by Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Karen graduated from Simmons College with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Karen previously worked, for 3 years, as a Registered Nurse in Adult Orthopedics, Neurology and Trauma. Karen enjoys family time, traveling and caring for the pediatric population!
Jonathan Linder is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He received his Master’s in Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. Before he was a Nurse Practitioner, Jonathan was a registered nurse at North East Baptist Hospital in San Antonio for 7 years where he cared for adults with all manner of heart and vascular conditions. He has had 5 children with his wife within a 6-year period. Jonathan has 2 boys and 3 girls including a set of twin girls. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. Jonathan is very passionate about giving children the best care possible!
Carly graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Master’s of Science in Nursing specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. She is licensed by the State of Texas BON and certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to becoming and PNP, Carly obtained her BSN through UT Health San Antonio. She worked as an RN for 9 years- most of those spent in the Pediatric ICU. Providing quality pediatric care has always been one of Carly’s most important goals, and she is excited to serve the Almouie Pediatric Family! When she isn’t working, Carly enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her 3-year-old son and husband. She also enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
While Travis was born and raised in Victoria, Texas, he has lived in Corpus Christi for more than 15 years. He obtained his Associates Degree in Nursing from Del Mar College in 2012 and began working as a Registered Nurse in adult Hematology/Oncology. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015, at which time he began working in pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. With 7 and a half years of Nursing experience, he earned a master of science in nursing through The University of Texas at Arlington. He is Licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and is Board Certified through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world.
Brandy Crowson is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Masters of Science degree at Texas Tech University and her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She is an active member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association as well as a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Brandy has always known she wanted to be a pediatric nurse and has been providing care to little ones for over 15 years. She lives with her husband and two children in San Antonio. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling as much as she can. She’s excited to be part of the team and looks forward to meeting you and taking care of your children.
Lauren is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences. She then received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. She is an active member of TAPA, AAPA, and BCPAS. She is passionate about promoting healthy, active lifestyles with her pediatric patients. She loves to volunteer in her community as much as possible. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, working out, baking, being outdoors, and traveling with her husband.
Patrick earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word. He received his Master’s of Science in Nursing specializing in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Texas in El Paso. He is licensed by the State of Texas Board of Nursing and certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Patrick worked for 6 years as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Emergency Department and Trauma Department in San Antonio. He is passionate about serving the pediatric population in the greater San Antonio area! Patrick is married to his high school sweetheart and has a 2- year old son. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, playing softball, and being outdoors.
Letty has been with Almouie Pediatrics since the opening in 2000. She has the responsibility of the development and implementation of business operating procedures. She controls and monitors all financial activities of the medical practice. She also maintains sound management control over the staff and their functions. She has been married for 30 years, has three children and four grandchildren.
Jennifer has been with Almouie Pediatrics since 2007. She graduated from Southern Careers Institute of Corpus Christi in 2004 as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. She oversees all clinical aspects of the organization. She has 2 children and enjoys spending time with them.
